“Scapes and Scope” reveals the deep and personal connection artists have always had with the natural world. Just as people perceive color in slightly different ways, artists in this show interpret scapes of “land, sea and urban space” in a wide, pictorial range. The paintings seamlessly cross the boundaries of literal depiction to poetic stylization, tradition to near abstraction.  All the time embracing the beauty of our world and rewarding the viewer with insightful visions of the familiar.
